Sign-up and upload
Sign-up to menu.tz and upload your menu. You can upload a Microsoft Excel or CSV file with all the details. We have even created a handy template for you that you can refer to.
One of our team members will be in touch with you within 24 hours to walk you through all the steps and provide further information and secure payment processing.
We build your menu
Sit back and relax as we build your new Digital QR Code menu for you. Our team will match the theme of your existing printed menu and your current website or company branding to ensure a seamless experience.
The process normally takes 7 business days to build out your full menu, depending on the number of items on your menu and the complexity of your design.
Review your new menu
Our team will deliver your new menu to you for your full review. You get 7 days to comb through your new menu to ensure everything is in order and make minor changes wherever necessary.
You will be in contact with a dedicated team member who will work with you during the entire review stage.
Go live!
You will also get an SVG copy of your QR Codes and your short URL that you can deliver to your internal team/designers and use them wherever required.
FAQs
How long does it take to setup and go live?
Depending on the plan, and the number of menu items, your menu can be live within 3-7 business days. This assumes that the content is already in place, including images.
Do you offer a trial?
We do not offer a free trial but digital table menu services are very affordable with a plan that can suit the smallest of independent restaurants to multi-location establishments. We have live demos and a walk-through can also be arranged. Contact us to speak to a Sales Rep.
Do I need to change my QR code every time I make changes to my menu?
No. Your QR code does not need to change. You can make as many changes to your menu as possible without requiring a new QR code.
What is the payment and contract period?
The Lite plan is only available on an annual contract. The Pro plan is available on both 6-month and 12-month options. The annual Pro plan gets 1 month free. Speak to a Sales Rep for more information.
What if I want to cancel my service?
We understand that a business sometimes needs to move on to other solutions or services. You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting your Sales Representative.
All cancellations are effective from expiration of the current subscription period. Unused subscription periods are non-refundable.
How long does it take to make changes?
Smaller changes to menu such as pricing, addition of some new items etc are completed within one business day. Larger changes to design and aesthetics may take longer.
All changes must be communicated clearly and marked as a “Change Request” and highlight what data has changed. E.g. change of price on item A, change of description on item B, additional of item C in Category Z, etc.
I already have a PDF menu, why do I need another digital menu?
PDF menus are not interactive, easy to navigate and the file sizes can be huge. Making changes to PDF designs is also difficult and if a customer has downloaded a version on their phone then you might have different versions in different places. This can lead to confusion in prices and diners can miss out on new content.
What do I need to provide?
You simply need to provide your existing menu, with its menu categories, items, descriptions and images. If you have any brand colour scheme and logo then please provide those too. We will take care of the rest.
How fast does the digital table menu open?
Our digital table menus are hosted on some of the fastest servers in the World. They feature the latest SSD technology with PHP 7.4 optimisation that works with Cloudflare’s global Content Delivery Network to deliver blazing speeds on page views.
What if I need more changes than allowed in my plan?
We understand that businesses have urgent needs at times and might require more changes than there plans allow. In such cases, we charge a fee of Tsh 10,000 only per change. Speak to your account lead for such changes.
I already have a website. Can I still signup for TableMenus?
